Gary Trogstad
has been in the insurance industry since 1979. He joined the Insurance Center of Buffalo in 2001 and purchased the agency from Ken Ogden in 2011.
Gary specializes in Commercial/Business insurance for property, liability, auto and workers compensation along with providing employee benefit solutions for Group Health, Dental, Life and Disability. He works closely with each client to tailor insurance coverage to meet each client's particular needs, maximizing their coverage, and providing quality products at a competitive price. Service after the sale is crucial to provide our customers with “Peace of Mind”.
Gary and his wife, Lori, have lived in Buffalo since 1990. He is committed to supporting the area with his participation in the Buffalo Rotary Club, Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce and many other community activities. He enjoys motorcycling and watching sports.
Ken Ogden
received a Bachelor of Science in Business in 1970. He continued his education, earning a certified Insurance Counselor designation in 1985, the Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter designation in 1988. Ken purchased the Insurance Center of Buffalo in 1988.
Ken specializes in senior health. Describing insurance as a caregiving profession, Ken stated. “We help people at most difficult times. No other business provides the amount of money required to help put their lives back together.” He and his wife, Lynn, live near Buffalo.
Kelly Bruggeman
has been in the insurance industry since 1983 and with the Insurance Center of Buffalo for over 23 years. Licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health, she is able to serve all clients' insurance needs. Kelly specializes in personal insurance, such as Home, Automobile, Motorcycle, Boats and ATV and Life Insurance.
Kelly is proud of the Insurance Center‘s strong philosophy of quality customer service, attention to detail and accurately understanding client needs. A focus on details and getting the right information is the key to building successful relationships with clients and finding the right insurance protection for their individual lifestyles. “I am now helping the 2nd generation of some of my long time clients, which is very gratifying” shares Kelly.
Kelly grew up in the Maple Lake area and now lives in Annandale with her husband Steve. She is a motorcycle enthusiast, enjoys spending time with her 2 grown sons whenever she can and traveling with her family.
Tara Munsterteiger
Tara started working at the Insurance Center of Buffalo in 1988. Tara is a Property/Casualty licensed agent. She obtained the Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 1990. Tara's primary duties include assisting clients with questions, policy changes, and any problems that arise. Tara enjoys working with clients and answering questions they may have about their insurance needs. If someone says they have a stupid question, she reminds them there is no such thing as a stupid question; we want clients to become more knowledgeable about their insurance needs. Tara and her husband, Brian, live near Monticello. She enjoys gardening, food preservation, and working with her husband on their hobby farm.
Karen Tomfohrde
joined the Insurance Center of Buffalo in 2005. Licensed in Life and Health as well as Property and Casualty, she is able to serve all clients insurance needs. In 2008, Karen earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation, a nationally accredited program recognizing excellence in the insurance industry. Karen is a charter member of Great River Referrals which is the Monticello chapter of Business Networking International as well as a member of the Monticello Chamber of Commerce. A resident of Wright County since 1990, Karen lives in Monticello with her three children.
